This is my first short story based on a prompt I thought of while I was hanging my laundry up to dry. It was written in about an hour on 20/03/2022, in my little apartment in Riccarton,  Ōtautahi Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand, in the company of my fledgeling monstera plant and my beautiful Rabbit's Foot fern.
